Roger’s passion is for helping companies to create a culture where providing a great customer experience is natural and authentic.
He believes this will always be driven by leaders who understand that their purpose is to enroll their people in change and are willing to invest in their own learning. Therefore much of his coaching work is helping leaders to find the courage and resilience needed to lead major change programmes and genuinely engage their people.
Before joining Relume, Roger was MD of ‘i-am’ people & culture, working with clients such as Whitbread, RBS and Co-operative Financial Services to create great customer experiences and enabling employees to ‘Be the Brand’.
Prior to that Roger spent 10 years at T Mobile in roles spanning Customer Services and Marketing. In his final role there, he led the department responsible for all aspects of Organisation Development, including coaching, leadership, culture and performance management. He uses his experience of these different parts of the organisation in helping clients to achieve their strategic goals by overcoming a silo mentality.
Roger is accredited in administering Myers Briggs Type Indicator and Firo B psychometric tools and is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
Roger regularly takes part in running and cycling endurance events and believes there are parallels in the relationship between discomfort and breakthrough in his sport and his work in organisations (although he prefers not to be asked about this when he is particularly exhausted at the end of a marathon!).
