Craigie's major aim in coaching is to facilitate the development of an individual’s potential as a manager, as a leader and as a person. Achieving this through enhancing self-awareness, improving relationship skills, sharpening decision-making and increasing flexible adaptability. He takes a Person-Centred approach, building on and challenging the individual’s current frames of reference and attempting to correct dysfunctional thinking and uncover emotional blind spots.
In team coaching he focuses on facilitating the unification of the team around a common purpose by clarifying goals, eliminating scapegoating and polarisation, mediating conflict and promoting the judicious use of power.
Craigie is a Senior Fellow at the IMIA Centre for Strategic Business Studies, an Executive Coaching Partner at Mindsetmatters Group in Sydney and a Foundation Member of the Executive Coaching Panel at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is the Lead Coach of the Coaching panel at National Australia Bank and on the coaching panels of both Qantas and PriceWaterHouseCoopers.
