Clare has worked within HR and Development since 1990, working in both the public and private sectors where she focused on team facilitation, organisational change, leadership development and coaching.
Clare joined Relume in 2004 and is particularly skilled in creating a safe and supportive environment in which both teams and individuals can learn and develop. Her engaging style balances challenge with compassion and a light touch.
Currently her work includes coaching and facilitating senior leaders and their teams undergoing considerable change, enabling them to identify a collective ambition, and to create and lead the culture, environment and spirit needed to challenge their respective markets. She is interested in developing a relationship led, rather than a programme led approach to change in organisations, believing that real and lasting change happens more effectively through conversation, relationship, and inquiry than simply through executing a plan.
In her coaching she is interested in taking executives beyond their intellect to deeper levels of reflection on their leadership and purpose – who they need to be, not just what they have to do.
Qualified with more than 15 years' experience of using MBTI and other personality profiling tools with individuals and teams, she has a post graduate diploma in Personnel Management and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
